Gordon F. Garrett, of counsel, has practiced law in Colorado for 39 years, specializing in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate development, financing, and transfer; municipal, special district, and regional authority representation in construction and management of local and regional utilities facilities; leasing of commercial office, retail, and warehouse properties, and tax-deferred exchanges of commercial real property involving multiple properties and parties.

He served on the Lakewood, Colorado City Council from 1989 to 1993, and was successively Mayor Pro Tem and Council President. A student of negotiations theory and practice, Mr. Garrett helps clients find ways to achieve their goals in complex transactions involving the disparate interests of many parties. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in 1963, his Juris Doctor degree from University of California Hastings College of Law in 1966, and his Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University in 1967.
